EXPLANATION

1. The endocarp is the innermost layer of the fruit surrounding the seeds. In oranges, the juicy segments we eat are part of the endocarp.

2. The endosperm is the nutritive tissue inside the seed that provides food for the developing embryo. In coconuts, the white flesh (copra) and the liquid (coconut water) are derived from the endosperm.

3. The mesocarp is the middle layer of the fruit. In mangoes, the fleshy, juicy part that we eat is the mesocarp.
